Thanks for your message!

Due to the volume of new-client requests I receive, I am often only able to respond to requests that match my availability and scope of practice. I do my best to respond to messages as soon as I am able to. In the mean time, here are a few answers to some frequently asked questions:

Q: Do you offer marriage or couples counseling

A: Not at this time. I specialize in working with teens, young adults and their families. Couples looking for marriage or relationship-specific support are best served by specialized professionals who have specific training and expertise in couples work.

Q: Which insurances do you accept?

A: I am currently in-network with the following insurances: Pacific Source, Pacific Source Community Solutions, Oregon Health Plan, Providence, Moda, Aetna, and Regence (Blue Cross Blue Shield). I also accept out-of-pocket payment and can provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance agency for potential reimbursement of session fees.

Q: What ages do you work with?

A: I primarily work with teens and their families as young as age 13, and young adults up to around 30 years old.

Q: How long will therapy take?

A: Sessions themselves range from 45-60 minutes and are typically scheduled weekly. Duration of therapy varies significantly based on your goals and the issues we are addressing. While a common timeframe for therapy is around 3-9 months, some challenges can be worked through in a matter of weeks, while other more complex issues can take several months or even longer to properly address and heal. During our initial appointments we will discuss your goals and create a treatment plan that is specific and unique to your needs and priorities.
